Distinguished
Young Women of
California

is part of a national scholarship program that promotes and rewards scholastics, leadership and talent in young women. Earn scholarships for higher education, personally develop through the DYW Life Skills Workshops, and make new friends from around the state.

To participate in California, you must first participate in a local program or the California At-Large program.

Applications for the Class of 2027 have closed. Now accepting applications for the Class of 2028 and later.

The local programs in California are currently working with their 2027 program year. If you will graduate in 2027 or later, please click on the city/county where you live to email the local committee for more information about participation.
