Distinguished
Young Women of
Alabama

is part of a national scholarship program that promotes and rewards scholastics, leadership and talent in young women. Earn scholarships for higher education, personally develop through the DYW Life Skills Workshops, and make new friends from around the state.

To participate in Alabama, you must first participate in a local program or the Alabama At-Large program. Now accepting applications for the Class of 2027 and later.

Class of 2026 Program Information

Location: Frazer Church, Montgomery

Dates: Preliminaries - January 23, 2026 at 7pm & January 24, 2026 at 1pm; Finals - January 24, 2026 at 7pm

Tickets:

Weekend Pass (Tickets for all 3 performances) - $70 in advance; $75 at the door
Friday Preliminary (January 23, 7:00 pm) - $25 in advance; $30 at the door
Saturday Preliminary (January 24, 1:00 pm) - $25 in advance; $30 at the door
Saturday Finals (January 24, 7:00 pm) - $35 in advance; $40 at the door

Local Programs

The local programs in Alabama are currently working with their 2027 program year. If you will graduate in 2027 or later, please click on the county where you live to email the local committee for more information about participation. **If you live in Colbert, Franklin, or Lauderdale County you will need to contact the Northwest Alabama Committee.

If your county of residence is not listed, please contact the Alabama At-Large Committee.
