Gia Solari returns to Distinguished Young Women National Finals after acting as Director/Choreographer and Creative Director in 2008, 2009, and 2010. She is a former judge for the National Dance Team Championships (ESPN), Artistic Associate at American Musical Theatre of San José and Producing Director at Diablo Theatre Company. In her current post, Gia serves as the Faculty and Curriculum Manager for a performing arts school in the San Francisco Bay Area. She is the founder and co-director of ShowCo, the All-Singing, All-Dancing Glee Club Experience. Gia holds Masters degrees in Fine Arts/Dance and Social Work. Performance credits: National tours of Evita (dir. Harold Prince) and The Hot Mikado; Disney; Nickelodeon; Royal Caribbean; and countless regional projects across the country. Directing/Choreography credits: Legally Blonde, The Musical (starring Broadway’s and MTV’s Bailey Hanks) ; Curtains; Sweet Charity; Cabaret; Children of Eden; Evita; South Pacific; The Wedding Singer.

Lindsay received her dance training from San Ramon Valley Dance Academy in California and several programs in the US and abroad, including the Russian Ballet Society, and BalletMet Columbus. She also competed on the national level at New York City Dance Alliance. Lindsay moved to NYC in 2004 where she joined the Steps on Broadway Repertory Ensemble and has worked with choreographers including Mark Dendy, Nathan Trice, Taye Diggs, Steven Sofia, and Jason Winters. Musical credits include On the 20th Century, Cabaret, West Side Story, the Music Man, and most recently Legally Blonde: the Musical, where she was also dance captain.

Pam Repp, Producer

Pamela Repp first came to Mobile and the AJM, now Distinguished Young Women, Scholarship Program 30 years ago, in 1982 with the CBS Television Network. She has remained a loyal supporter of the program for three decades and returns again this year, with her stellar and legendary production team, to produce the 2012 national finals for the sixteenth consecutive year. Pam's more than 400 TV credits include specials with Dolly Parton, Vince Gill, Tina Turner, Shania Twain, Princess Grace of Monaco, Bob Hope, Carol Burnett, Martina McBride, Natalie Cole, The Statler Bros., Lionel Richie, Bon Jovi, Jimmy Buffett, Amy Grant, Jordin Sparks, Bette Midler, Patrick Swayze, Wynonna, Reba McEntire and three US Presidents - Carter, Reagan and Geo. H.W. Bush. She was the coordinating producer for the PBS specials "Legendary Ladies of Rock and Roll" and "Shake, Rattle and Roll", as well as the annual Tournament of Roses Parade and Macy's Thanksgiving Parade for CBS-TV. She recently wrapped up her Supervising Producer duties for the Gospel Music Association's 41st Annual Dove Awards and BMI Trailblazer Awards. During her 18 year tenure with the PBS Dance In America series, Pam had the honor or working with such legendary troupes and dancers as the Joffrey Ballet, George Balanchine and the NYC Ballet, Arthur Mitchell's Dance Theatre of Harlem, The San Francisco Ballet, Twila Tharpe, Jacque D'ambiose, Martha Graham, Edward Villella, Patricia McBride, Mikhail Baryshnikov, Rudolf Nureyev, Dame Margot Fontaine, Gelsey Kirkland, Peter Martins, Alexander Godunov and Gregory Hines. In addition to producing the Distinguished Young Women National Finals, Pam currently continues with her Nashville productions including the annual CMA Country Music Awards and just recently finished pre-production and groundwork on a series of Humanities specials highlighting the homes of America's Literary legends including Mark Twain, Ernest Hemingway, William Faulkner and Nathaniel Hawthorne. Pam lives with her husband, Marc Repp, an audio engineer for MTV Networks, and their Saint Bernard in Nashville, Tennessee. |
