National Finals
For more than 55 years, Mobile, Alabama has been the home of Distinguished Young Women, formerly the America's Junior Miss scholarship program. Each year fifty of the nation's brightest and most accomplished young women visit the Gulf Coast to compete for more than $130,000 in cash scholarships and the opportunity to represent the program as the Distinguished Young Woman of America.
While in Mobile, participants enjoy some of the area's finest attractions, participate in community service activities, and build life-long friendships. Sponsors and volunteers from the Mobile community donate their homes, time and services to make this event possible.
The 55th National Finals will be held June 28, 29 & 30, 2012 at the Mobile Civic Center Theater.
