AMERICA’S JUNIOR MISS CONTESTANTS TO PARTICIPATE IN MOBILE BAYBEARS GAME TUESDAY

The 2007 Junior Misses will begin rehearsals at the Mobile Civic Center on Tuesday with talent and group rehearsals. They will attend a lunch hosted by the Mobile Lion’s Club at 12:00 noon in Room 16 of the Mobile Civic Center.

The Class of 2007 will join the BayBears on Thursday at 5:30 pm as they take West Tennessee at Hank Aaron Stadium. Prior to the baseball game, the young women will participate in two AJM traditions – the “North vs. South” softball game and the first pitch, thrown by all 50 participants and AJM 2007 Taylor Phillips. The contestants will also sing the National Anthem prior to the game.

The Class of 2007 will compete for a share of $150,000 in cash scholarships and the title of America’s Junior Miss 2007 at the 50th Annual National Finals on June 28-30. The program will be broadcast live at 7 p.m. June 30 on WPMI-TV 15's Web site, www.nbc15online.com. Tickets are available at www.ajm.org or by calling 251-438-3621.
